We’re celebrating our silver jubilee!
A new year is traditionally a time for celebrating. But 2010 means an extra special celebration for all of us here at Airedale Tours because it is our silver jubilee year.
We’re organising some special events to mark our anniversary and we hope that many of you will be able to join us.
Our group travel business – originally set up as a family concern in 1985 – has grown from strength to strength over the past 25 years. We are still offering traditional UK holidays for groups but we have also moved with the times and expanded our portfolio to include not only continental but worldwide holidays too.
Our choice of holiday transport has also expanded over the years to meet our customers’ expectations. Exclusive coach travel remains at the heart of holidays with excursions but nowadays Airedale can opt to travel by ferry or plane or to cruise.
But although we’ve grown and offer far more choice in 2010 than we did in 1985, one thing hasn’t changed. We still seek to provide the high standards of service and to work in a professional but friendly way with all our customers. Flexibility, reliability and sound advice are at the heart of that service and we reckon it has stood us in good stead in an age when customers are sometimes treated more like numbers than people.
There is one thing that hasn’t changed over the years. We still see ourselves as a ‘family’ here at Airedale Tours. And if we are a family, there is no doubt that many of our customers count as friends.
We hope that many of you, our friends, will be able to join in some of the special events that we are busy planning for our silver jubilee year in 2010. The celebrations were launched at our biennial conference for group organisers in February. Look our for news on our website and in Let’s Travel of other events including a silver jubilee party , familiarisation trips and prize competitions.
