Fantastic Week

Star LetterOur star letter is written by Heather Rose of the Jansel 60’s Club. Heather and her group stayed at the Ilfracombe Carlton Hotel. Below is her account of this popular hotel. Heather wins £20 in gift vouchers.

We had a fantastic week. The staff were so helpful, they could not do enough for us. The food was out of this world and there was lots of it. The rooms were spotless even though some were quite small.

The entertainment was very good with much banter going to and fro. What people enjoyed most was the reduced sound level – usually much too loud.

Our coach driver Andy Portsmouth from Nottingham City Coaches was excellent. He was friendly, helpful and above all a very careful driver. He had to deal with terrible road conditions as the weather was horrendous.

Airedale, once again you have done us proud.
