Popular hotels get £12m facelift
Eight former Thistle hotels have recently been improved as part of a £12 million capital investment programme by new owners, Menzies Hotels.
The refurbished hotels include some that are extremely popular with groups, including our own customers. All of the Menzies Hotels properties are located in or close to major UK towns and cities – with good visitor attractions on the doorstep.
The investment project has included the refurbishment of public areas and bedrooms and the creation of new, contemporary restaurants and lounge bar areas.
Menzies Hotels are committed to working closely with the travel trade market. They have a dedicated Travel Trade Sales Manager, Elaine Ward, who told us: “At Menzies Hotels we understand that your groups are a party of individuals that just happen to be travelling as a group by coach but are still looking for individual service and attention. This is what we pride ourselves in. They will receive a warm welcome and friendly, helpful service in a comfortable environment.”
