Solo Tour of Costa Brava

Today, your tour manager will introduce you to Lloret de Mar. Start with a visit to the Museu del Mar, which explores the town's rich seafaring history and its development over the centuries. Next, visit Castell de Sant Joan, a medieval fortress built to protect the town from seaborne threats. After free time for lunch, we continue to the Modernist Cemetary, where Gaudi's contemporary turn of the century sculptors were commissioned with mausoleums, making this area very inspiring. 

Exploring the Empordà region of Catalonia is a delightful way to spend the day. Visit the gardens of the historic Peralada Castle and also the impressive glass museum, which houses over 2,000 unique pieces. After free time for lunch, stay in the Empordà area to experience one of its highlights: wine. The Mediterranean conditions help for one of the first vine growing areas on the whole of the Iberian Peninsula. We will get an insight in to this as well as a taste to conclude the visit.

Today, enjoy a day of exploration at your leisure. With so many options in the area, we highly recommend taking a boat trip north to the charming village of Tossa de Mar. Not only will you discover the village’s quaint appeal, but you'll also have the chance to experience the stunning Costa Brava from a unique perspective

Blanes, just a short distance from Lloret, is renowned for its extensive Botanical Garden. Here, you can admire plant species from around the world, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean. Enjoy a hands-on culinary experience, where you'll learn to prepare traditional Catalan dishes for lunch, before returning to Lloret.

Enjoy a leisurely day to explore the weekly street market in Lloret de Mar. You can relax and soak up the sun or catch up on some last-minute shopping before our final full-day excursion. Your tour manager will be happy to provide further recommendations

La Bisbal d'Empordà, renowned for its clay-rich soil, has been a center for pottery and ceramics for centuries. A visit to the Terracotta Museum will provide insight into the town’s historical significance in the ceramic arts. We will also explore one of the many local artisan workshops, where you’ll not only receive an informative background on the craft but also witness live demonstrations. This will give you a chance to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces, making it a truly unique experience. After, enjoy some free time for lunch in the picturesque town of Calella de Palafrugell, before returning to the hotel
