Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Take the Eurostar from London St. Pancreas to Rotterdam, and be picked up for a coach transfer to Amsterdam.This evening you will be taking a scenic cruise through the twinkling lights of Amsterdam from the Heineken Experience to Gassan Diamonds, allowing you to take in the unique waterway and the many captivating views.

Day 02

After breakfast, take a trip to the Rijksmuseum for the 'At Home in the 17th Century' exhibition where your expert guide will provide personal insights into the daily lives of the Dutch people in the 17th century. In the afternoon, take three specialised guided tours of Rembrandt and his personal life and masterpieces, the theme of love in various historical artworks and the Rijksmuseum and Slavery.

Day 03

Today you will be taking a trip to Haarlem to visit the Frans Hals Museum, housing impressive an impressive collection of work from the Dutch Golden Age. A private tour will offer inishgts into the works of Frans Hals and his contemporaries. This afternoon, visit Het Grachtenhuis and discover the luxurious lifestyle of the aristocracy with a guide to illuminate the stories of its former inhabitants. Once back in Amsterdam, visit the Ice Village Christmas Market, the largest in the city with twinkling lights, a skating rink and plenty of opportunities for shopping.

Day 04

Take the Eurostar back to London after an informative, interesting and Christmassy few days.
