John booked a tour with us and took his group to Northumbria earlier this month. We are so pleased to see they all had a fabulous time and left us a lovely review!
"It was a great holiday that everyone enjoyed. Frasers provided a brand new coach, the seats were very comfortable, and overall the coach was very quiet. Driver John Blair was excellent, probably the best we have had from Don Fraser. His driving skills put the rest of us to shame! He read the traffic conditions perfectly so we had a very smooth ride. John was quite meticulous in making sure all the arrangements were in place for our visits and was cooperative regarding the length of time we spent at each one. Wednesday was always forecast to be very wet so he, in consultation with me, swopped the Wednesday and Thursday itineraries around. He found a good coffee stop for us on the last day and finally delivered us back to Ormskirk safely.
Our itinerary was excellent, particularly the guided tours and boat trip. Both guided tours lasted about 2 hours and the guides were very good. No one got bored! I thought the Bowes museum tour was particularly good. What a good choice of boat trip operator you made! A company worthy of being used again. The trip around the Farne Island lasted 3 and a quarter hours and as we had changed it to Thursday we were blessed with sunny weather. We were late getting back to the coach so I had phoned the driver to let him know, which wasn't a problem, and he even arranged for the dinner to be put back by 30 minutes. Dinner at the Shap Wells Hotel was excellent. Great menu choice with swift service. And we were given a THREE-course meal!
So a well organised holiday, we will be back next year!"
