Take the path of thousands of pilgrims and hike the Finisterre route of the Camino de Santiago. Enchanted forests, medeival towns and panoramic views await.

Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Fly from London Gatwick to Santiago-Rosalía de Castro Airport and take a transfer to your hotel. If there is time, there will be an orientation walk of the area with your tour manager. Enjoy a welcome dinner with wine at your hotel in Santiago.

Day 02

The walk today will start at the Plaza del Obradoiro, right in front of the grand cathedral. This 21km walk will take you to the pretty village of Negreira, and after some free time for lunch the coach will take you back to Santiago.

Day 03

Today is the longest walk of around 28km. Starting in Negreira, take in the verdant Galician countryside and pass through the typical Spanish dwellings. For lunch, enjoy a picnic in the countryside before returning to Santiago. Dinner is included at the hotel.

Day 04

Today's walk will continue into deep rural Galicia where you will view the sea for the first time. Finish the walk in the seaside town of Cee, where you will have free time for lunch before returning to Santiago.

Day 05

The final walk of the holiday will take you to Finisterre, which was aptly named 'the end of the world' by the Romans. A shorter 16km walk will have amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Reach the lighthouse in Finisterre, a pilgrim destination since the Middle Ages. Lunch at a restaurant by the fishing port is included, before returning to Santiago.

Day 06

Spend a day at leisure in Santiago, where you can visit the cathedral, various churches, museums, pleasant parks in the great atmosphere with pilgrims from all over the world enjoying the city. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Galician dinner with all of the trimmings for your final evening meal.

Day 07

Transfer to the airport and fly back to the UK.
