Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Arrive in Montenegro as you take a leisurely transfer to the charming coastal town of Herceg Novi with the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Day 02

This morning, immerse yourself in the rich history of Herceg Novi as you wander through the streets of the Old Town before visiting the Savina Monastery and ascend the ancient ramparts of the Kanli Kula fortress. Later, journey into the hills above the town for a delectable wine tasting experience.

Day 03

Today, travel to the UNESCO listed gem of Kotor, nestled at the end of the bay. Wander the winding streets and alleyways through the city walls, adorned with old churches and palaces. Stony steps will lead you to St. Tryphon Cathedral, where echoes of history can be found in the stony silence, before returning to Herceg Novi.

Day 04

The charming coastal town of Perast will be your first stop this morning, where you can climb stony steps for a panoramic view of Kotor or explore the Baroque churches and palaces before heading to Our Lady of the Rocks. This tiny island is home to only a church sitting on the clear blue waters. Continue to the historic capital of Cetinje, where Montenegro's royal past can be seen through the grandeur of the architecture.

Day 05

Spend today at your leisure, perhaps explore the town's vibrant markets or take a trip to the small but interesting Museum of Herceg Novi.

Day 06

Pass through the border of Montenegro to Bosnia and Heregeznovia to visit the quaint town of Trebinje. Explore the cobbled streets of the Old Town as you take in the aromas of fresh bread before visiting a local winery to sample the tastes of sun-drenched vineyards and ancient traditions.

Day 07

Spend a day at leisure, perhaps take a boat trip from your hotel to visit the Blue Cave or spend a day by the bay.

Day 08

Spend your final day at leisure, perhaps revisit some of the places you have loved or indulge in a spot of souvenir shopping.

Day 09

Take a transfer back to the airport as you say goodbye to the beautiful country of Montenegro.
